To convert to MPEG2 is actually pretty simple just a question of downloading
GraphEdit & a couple of DirectShow filters. It was the first time that I had
played with GraphEdit but it only takes a few minutes to get used to it. The
procedure for converting to DivX looks rather more complicated.

It works fine on my MCE machine without affecting MCE functions. Also works fine
on another machine that is standard XP SP2.
