Thanks for the help. I learned the hard way. My next system will include a
GHOST drive for sure.
I did make the System Recovery CD, so I could try a repair install. That
may be my next thing to try, however I'm concerned what this might do to the
rest of my installed applications. I wonder if I can just repair the Media
Center part? Probably not.
I tried running the Microsoft MCE Test Kit 2.0 diagnostic utility.
Everything passed except the MPEG Decoders? It said that I don't have a
compatible decoder. It lists several decoders installed (including the
latest InterVideo one), but says that none of them are compatible. Not sure
what to make of this. I suppose this could be my problem, but how could they
all not work?
