OK. What does your laptop have when you plug it into the wireless bridge
(obviously not 192.168.1.1 as you have assigned this to the MCE pc.

As no DHCP set your laptop to 192.168.1.10
Subnet 255.255.255.0
Gateway: you can leave blank as you are not routing onto any other networks.

Can you then ping the AP? the MCE PC?
