UPDATE: I ran the Intel CPU Test program and discovered the Revision Level
is at "0" indicating the BIOS does not recognize the Prescott processor
(should be 8). I've sent another email to SOYO asking for a BIOS version
that correctly identifies the CPU.
Also, I disabled the Level 1 & 2 cache and was able boot (and finish the MCE
2005 installation). It took forever; ran overnight. There's a MS hotfix
that I want to install and see if it clears the problem. BEST solution is to
have the right BIOS.
Any thoughts?
