Hey. Everytime I turn on my PC a window on the bottom right by the clock
pops up that says "The software you are installing for this hardware has not
passed Windows Logo testing to verify its compatibility with Windows XP." The
software or hardware is called "ACPI Multiprocessor PC" Is there any way to
stop this error from popping up everytime I start Windows XP? I tried
searching for ACPI and about 50 files show up, many say "Driver" or something
related. I also checked in Device Manager and there is a list, I assume, of
every kind of drive and hardware installed on my PC. And the first item on
the list at the top is the "Computer" icon and when I click on the + sign,
"ACPI Uniprocessor PC" comes out. I'm not sure if that is the name of the
hard drive or what, but it is on my PC. This has never happened before until
recently after I did the Recovery because of a problem I was having. Now it
always comes up after start-up. I don't know if there is a difference
between ACPI Uniprocessor PC and ACPI Multiprocessor PC, but it keeps wanting
to install the new hardware everytime I start-up. Any help would be
appreciated. Oh yeah, I
have an HP M370n Media Center PC. Thanks
