Yes, but your system should have come with an IR emitter, or you may have to purchase one separately. Ideally, when you run the MCE setup and tell it you have a Set top box, it should keep the tuner card tuned to channel 3 or 4 (depending on how your STB is setup) and use the IR emitter to control the STB to tune to the correct channel. The IR emitter typically comes with a removable strip to expose a "sticky" side that goes on the front of your STB right over the IR receiver port.
