Yes, but your system should have come with an IR emitter, or you may have to purchase one separately. Ideally, when you run the MCE setup and tell it you have a Set top box, it should keep the tuner card tuned to channel 3 or 4 (depending on how your STB is setup) and use the IR emitter to control the STB to tune to the correct channel. The IR emitter typically comes with a removable strip to expose a "sticky" side that goes on the front of your STB right over the IR receiver port.

Nothing else that I know of handles DVR-MS formats at this time. Some OEM's ship a plug in that will allow it. >> >> -- >> Doug Knox, MS-MVP Windows Media Center\Windows Powered Smart Display >> Win 95/98/Me/XP Tweaks and Fixes >> http://www.dougknox.com >> -------------------------------- >> Per user Group Policy Restrictions for XP Home and XP Pro >> http://www.dougknox.com/xp/utils/xp_securityconsole.htm >> -------------------------------- >> Please reply only to the newsgroup so all may benefit. >> Unsolicited e-mail is not answered. >> >> "iceman" <iceman@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:2C17F2CE-B6D1-4860-9D1E-E70A39205042@microsoft.com... >> > Hi, I have two questions.
