I agree with Gregory and many other HP owners. I myself bought an HP PC in
April 2004 at great expense - as PCs go, these things ain't cheap. Within 6
months, my PC is using an operating system which is out of date, plagued with
numerous flaws and HP UK tell us tough, you cannot have the upgrade. To add
insult to injury, HP US offer the upgrade - what a joke! Why don't we offer
the upgrade to those who live in a white house not a red one. As an
individual who bought a media center PC at a time when Microsoft are hoping
the technology will take off, Microsoft simply must put more pressure and get
HP UK to sort this out asap. Otherwise I am sure, as suggested on other
forums, people will simply obtain the software illegally.

Once again, I reiterate, this is appalling customer service by HP and I for
one, will never buy an HP product again.
