I am having problems getting dual tuners to work.
I have an HP m380.uk PC upgraded to MCE 2005. I have just installed a second
tuner, the Hauppauge PVR-250MCE. The original card (also a Hauppauge) works
fine. Both cards have the latest drivers - version 22247, and are connected
to two separate cable boxes using s-video and composite audio inputs. The
second tuner does not receive any sound or picture when I use TV setup and
select s-video 2 or composite video 2 (I know it is strange but even though I
connect using s-video the original card receives the signal on composite
video-1 - I have no idea why this is the case).
I have windvd6 installed so I do have a DVD decoder.
Interestingly, after selecting s-video 2 or composite video 2 in tv setup
and subsequently select s-video 1 (the original card's input), the computer
says that video files are missing, unable to play video, please restart media
center or restart computer.
What is going on, what do I need to do to get the second card working?
