IR blaster with Dish Player 500

Hi all - I have two questions - #1, does anyone know the IR code for MCE2005
to control a Dish Player 500 (model 7200), Ive tried them all & none work -
also I stuck the "bug" to the clear red plastic part on the set top box, not
sure thats right though cause that says IR blaster in the manual for the set
top box to blast a VCR?? I dont see another place that would receive the
remote signal though. Question #2 is this - the back of the MCE remote
receiver has 2 plugs for the IR blaster cord, marked 1 & 2 - which one to
plug into? I assume 1 but nothing is working so wasnt sure. All info is
appreciated, this place has been the only place I have gotten reliable
answers - you guys rock!
