hmmm, I tried to respond to this while ago, but it isn't showing up.
I got the pc from best buy, it is a HP M377N pc that came w/ MCE 2004. There
is a list on HP.COM that has a list of different HP MCE pc's that CAN be
upgraded to MCE 2005. And the one that I have is in there, says that it is
avaliable to upgrade.
I didn't notice a cd key on the plastic wrap around the cd, if so it is gone
now!!! The trash has already been picked up. I have been reading a few posts
on here, and one guy said the following...

"The CDs do not come with a unique key. As long as all
your MCE PCs are listed as qualifying for the upgrade,
you should have no problem using a single CD to upgrade
all of them (technically, ethically, and legally). :-)"

If it is true what they said then it should not ask for a cd key. And if it
does could I use the code for my PC, for my windows xp w/ MCE 2004?

Also, can I just install it over everything that I have? Or will it have to
be a clean install? And if it can just be installed over everything, will it
mess w/ anything on my pc? I mean, will all my programs, and stuff still be
on my pc?
I would love in install MCE 2005, I have bene waiting for it for awhile.. I
just dont' want it to mess w/ anything.

Plus I read a post on here that said that LIVE TV and RECORDED TV didn't
work after the install. And that it was possibly a driver issue. Has there
been more info about this? What driver causes it? Or anything?
Someone please let me know if it is ok to try to install it...
Thanks
Chris
