It sounds like you have the Sasser virus. Since you are on dialup, the
easiest way take care of it probably is to install XP SP-2 from CD. After
you reboot and dial back in, it will ask you if you want to download the
removal tool and take care of it. You also should check on updates for your
virus software (although you do not mention having any). There are other
ways to clean it up, but this would prove to be more strategic in the long
term.
