OK, got the MCE box hooked up to the big TV in the basement. Ran into an
interesting problem...
How do you exit the MCE software from the remote?
I can start MCE by pressing the green button on the remote. Once its
running, I can do anything I need on the TV. However, when I go to bed at
night, I want to turn off the Media Center program.
The MCE machine shares a monitor with my son's PC. I'd rather not have to
switch his monitor on and switch to that box just to exit Media Center. If I
leave it up but just turn off the TV, it still keeps buffering the signal
(hitting the hard disk) and the sound continues.
I tried the "power off" button on the remote, which puts the system into
Standby. I'd rather not have the system in standby, just exit the Media
Center software instead. Can this be done from the remote?
