GTJimBob,
I'm trying to find out if this patch is known for causing troubles and if it
is, what the solution, work-around may be. As soon as I find out I will let
you know.
This problems you and other people are having seems to be codec-related and
not necessarily related to the fix. I was reading about the patch and it
doesn't seem likely that this would cause this error, but anyway, it well
may be. Sometimes in the rush to release a fix for a problem, you oversee
possible side effects, and because you are trying to get people help as soon
as possible, you release early and it may have consequences. This has
happened to me in the past and many others in the company I work for.
I will let you know. See my other post for suggestions on how to
troubleshoot that.
regards,
Luis
