Bob, thanks for responding. I have considered that. In
fact I have a similar IR device that I use to change
channels from one room to another, and I've attempted
using that emitter in place of the gateway one. Still no
luck.

Gateway support told me I wouldnt see one. Is that

Do you know if there is a list of compatible STBs out
there? I'm really disappointed that this isnt working.
I was really looking forward to the comptuer and
software, but have been trying for a month now.. to
include even sending the computer back to gateway only to
have them tell me everything is fine, only to get it back
and it still doesnt work. I'm really at a loss and
considering just trying to return the thing and get my
money back. These discussion boards are my last efforts.
