Be careful when you say 'work with UK Freeview'. If you mean connect an external
Freeview Set Top Box via the s-video input & capture using the hardware MPEG2
encoder then yes the PVR-250 will work with Freeview. However in the UK your
choice is between analogue TV via the tuner card plus input from a STB
(Freeview, Sky or cable) a la PVR-250 _or_ a DVB-T Freeview tuner that does not
have a hardware MPEG2 encoder so you cannot connect a STB. I don't think that
any of the above cards is a DVB-T card. There obviously are some supported as
MCE systems with DVB-T are sold in the UK. The Conexant LR6650 Digital Tv Tuner
card is what ships in the Packard-Bell MCE systems but I don't know whether you
can buy that as a standalone item.
