I had previous probleim/post about noise when changing TV
channels on Media TV. It never solved so I disconnected
the speakers subbwoffers which came with the PC and got a
new Yamaha YHT-450 6.1 home teather speaker system for
the Gateway Media Center PC with Gateway LCD Monitor
which has digital connection to PC.

Cable comes in connects to cablebox(has digital channels
also), cable box connects to PC.
Pc connects to Yamaha receiver with 2 analog sound
because I can't find a cable which one end pc audio, the
other end ARC digital audio (one plug only)
Cable box connects to receiver with digital sound.

If we use the pc cable connection to watch Media TV I
still have the TV Channel switcing noise and the sound is
analog.

If I select the digital connection between the receiver
and the cable box for the sound I have beautiful digital
sound no noise when changing channels but the sound will
come later then the picture. It has a delay.
My dilema is: How I can eliminate the delay or connect
the PC digitaly with the receiver or cable box? The
monitor does not have any other connections just the
analog and digital to PC so I can't connect to the
receiver.

I was thinking if I can connect the receiver sound
digitaly to the PC from that one digital ARC plug than it
might work but Where can I get that cable?

Do any of you have the media Center PC hooked up with a
6.1 home teather system?

The xbox also hooked up and working very nicely! Have
digital sound and graffic.

How I can get that to the Media TV?
Plain English please because I will not understand.
THANKS!!!!
