As Chris points out, more details are needed. Based on your brief
description, my first guess would be the video driver software. Many
video drivers add additional tabs to the display properties, possibly one
of these is causing some sort of conflict or has a software error. See if
your video card manufacturer has an updated driver for your OS and card.
