You installed 2 things. Does getting rid of one get rid of the problems?
Might be easy to reconnect the old monitor? If it was me I would first
suspect the video card drivers. In control panel add remove software I would
remove the nVidia drivers, download the latest drivers from the nVidia
website, reboot, install the new drivers, reboot and check for the problem.
