I have a HP 873N and would like to watch MC-MyTV in the
living room on a TV at the same time the kids are using the
computer/monitor in the computer room.
I have a long S-video and audio cable and I can clone the
displays and make the TV primary and I get good quality
video on the TV, but the computer is unusable for anything
else.
When I do dualview->TV+analog, it kinda works, but many
apps come up on the TV since it is the primary display -
the start menu is on the TV, etc. The TV viewing is
messed up, and the computer user often can't see the apps
since the TV is in the other room. (We have many
interesting sessions with me in the TV room yelling to my
son on the computer: mouse right, down, left, right-click,
no back up, etc as we try to get the video settings back to
something usable - I suppose a wireless kbd/mouse might
solve that issue ;)
If I do dualview->analog+TV, most apps come up on the
computer OK, but MC doesn't like to run on the secondary
display (this didn't seem to be a problem on the previous
MCE version and/or Nvidia driver version :( ) Also, I
can't get MC to go full screen on the 2nd display.
If anyone has a solution, please give me some clues.
New XP MCE 2004 upgrade installed
Nvidia driver: 5.2.1.6
Thanks,
davem
