Well, a little bit more success today. I downloaded the latest MCE Drive (53.04 I believe) and now I get a bunch of options for setting the resolution on that display. It's better, since now I can move the mouse up and actually see most of the display, there is still some clipping around the edges, which makes it difficult to see the start button & task bar icons when in XP.

Then after the changes, though I noticed that when I run the media center, It runs in that same resolution and the picture is beyond the physical size of the tv. It's really weird. I downloaded the powerstrip program and will mess around with that tonight to see what happens. Thanks for everything again.

I would try it as the only monitor one more time, if that doesn't work and
you are using the latest driver then it is time for powerstrip. Apparently
the system must be learning from the monitor that it only supports 640x480
which isn't true. Powerstrip will let you make the adjustment. I only tried
powerstrip once, in preparation for hooking up my PC to the TV but wound up
not using it since my TV worked even using the default windows drivers. If
you have trouble using it start a new specific thread here or check
avsforum.com or google for instructions. Don't worry I think you will get a
good picture in the end. It sounds like you have all the right equipment.
It's just a matter of settings.

now, because It's driving me nuts at the current resolution of 640 x 480,
I've got my old CRT monitor hooked in as a secondary monitor (to help get it
all set up). When I go to the display settings for that monitor, it lets me
get a really high resolution (I don't recall off the top of my head right
now....I'm at work and still thinking of my Media Center).
