There's no way that your PC would know what operating system the e-mail
recipient is using.
Are you getting an error message while sending or an e-mail back later
in your inbox?
If is possible that Hallmark stores the greeting card on a web site and
sends a link to the recipient. And then when the recipient clicks the
link and the web site tries to install a program on the recipient's PC
to view the card the install fails and the web site sends you an alert
that the install failed.
Not much you can do about it. It's a limitation of the greeting card
software.
Personally I would refuse any greeting card that required me to install
software in order to view.

Hi All
Attempting to send Sierra Hallmark greeting card to a Mac computer
(non-
Windows) via EMAIL, but am advised by my Dell computer (Windows XP)
that the
other computer requires Windows OS to receive the greetings. My emails
(without attachments)are delivered without any problem. If that is the
case,
is there any other way to effect delivery?
Appreciate any helpful advice.
TIA
franktee
