In OE it usually takes a couple of minutes. Using the clunky Web interface as you are can that much longer, sometimes hours. It is a really sad site.
In Tools | Accounts | News | Properties | General, check the box to Include this account when checking for messages. Whenever OE checks for mail, (whatever you have that set for), it will also check for new posts.
Clicking Refresh. (F5), will check at any time.
Tools | Options | Read, uncheck: Get XXX headers at a time.

In IE I can see your last response and the one from Jim, but in OE, I don't

groups, mainly forums, can be read on OE or any news reader as they are Web
based only. Eg: Adobe Forums, AumHa, etc.
