OH MY GOSH, Bruce, just that easy!!
Proves I was too stubborn to ask for help on this group to begin with.
Many many thanks - Blithe

Re: Windows 2000 Pro (SP4)
For several weeks my correspondents have complained - emails with
attachments that I forward replicate &/or duplicate dozens of times &
arrive
unreadable in their inboxes. I tried several suggestions posted on the
Internet & also scanned for worms/Trojan horses with no improvement.
I then successfully reinstalled Outlook Express 6.0 - but the same
regardedhas persisted.
I notice when testing & forwarding to myself - that separate sections of
the
attachments appear to separate as individual emails & arrive garbled - &
some of these go directly into my 'deleted' box.
I have used OE for many years & never experienced this problem. My W2K
still is just as reliable & steady as ever. I purchased a highly
componentsanti-malware program that detected a couple 'high risk' spyware
in my system - but after eliminating them the problem persists.
Can anyone point me to a solution? Thanks.
Blithe
