and all that got from the error was " prompted for username and password " .
There was no error number.

The person had this issue over a week ago with the same prompt but what had
happened is when he called in for technical support the password was changed
and he was unable to get it changed for OE. I assisted him in getting that
password changed thinking that would resolve the issue but it seemed that
the password wasn't retaining in OE. What happened in the end was the OE
account was deleted and we rebuilt the account from scratch. All the
settings were checked as per his ISP provider to be correct. That seemed
to resolve the issue up until today.

The customer is getting the same prompt for username and password and to his
knowledge no changes have been made. Again his webmail is working fine.
The operating system is XP.

The biggest hurdle for this person is being blind and having to rely on his
trainer to help him with it at this time.

Is this possibly a corrupt OE program or a conflict with the program he uses
( JAWA ).
