Hi
I'm unable to delete a message in OE6 either by hitting the Delete key,
or dragging into the Deleted Items. I cannot open this particular message
either. I've run McAfee to see whather it detects any viruses and it
doesn't. Also, when I sometimes do try to delete or open that message OE
freezes, or there is lots of hard disk activity. All other messages can
be opened or deleted, it's just this one. Any help please?

The *.dbx file for the folder with that message is corrupt and that is why
you can't delete the message. Move all other messages out of that folder,
close OE, then delete the *.dbx file.

You might also be able to correct the problem using File|Folder|Compact
All Folders, but you are more than likely going to encounter an error
when OE tries to compact the problem folder.
