OE Tools | Options | Send | News Sending Format | Plain Text | Indent the original text with...

Is the above option enabled? If so, did you disable it and was it disabled before you installed SP3?

Also, is AVG 8.0 Email Scanner installed and enabled?

ZA Pro 4.5.538.001 has been on the machine for several years and has worked

Other than (1) uninstalling ZA Pro, (2) enabling the Windows Firewall, (3)
