Could you please tell me what wrong it will cause?
1. It won't work.
2. You may end up losing the data.

For the new account, it contains a list of Inbox, outbox files, if I replace
those files with existing on new account, what will happen?
Thank you very much for any suggestions

Do NOT do that.

What if I copy the folder under window explorer, which contains all files
for Inbox, outbox, but I don't know that address book files are located
under the same folder.
Then I copy and paste into the storage folder for new OE, I have tried
this
approach before, but have no idea whether I will miss anything or not.
Could
anyone please give me any suggestions on this approach?
Thank everyone very much for any suggestions

I will assume both machines are running WinXP.
OE data cannot be exported from the old HDD to the new HDD. (OE File |
Export can only export to MS Outlook or MS Exchange.)
You may be able to *import* the OE data (i.e., folders and their
messages)
from the old HDD to the new machine via OE File | Import if the new HDD
can
"see" the old HDD. See http://www.insideoe.com/faqs/how.htm#importOE5.
Don't even bother attempting to import anything from the old HDD's
Registry. If you can recover your OE folders and Address Book, you'll be
lucky.
While this isn't exactly rocket science, it's not easy either. If the
procedures look too complex - and there is no shame in admitting this
isn't
your cup of tea - take the machine to a local, reputable and independent
(i.e., not BigBoxStoreUK) computer repair shop.

Got so far but now stuck. Don't know what it means by export these 4
keys
where it says....
Export the 4 OE registry keys.
From Regedit, export these 4 keys as *.reg files and save them in your
Registry keys folder (see Preparation #2):
--HKEY_CURRENT_USER
-----Identities
I open regedit, goto the identities folder, in the left pane, right
click
to
get the export option, (as thats the only place i can find any option to
export, so thats my interpretation of the instructions.."Click RegistryExport Registry File" rightly or wrongly, thats the only way I can see
how
to do it. And its refering to this as a 'branch' as there are more than
one
entries under identities. Then it wants to know what to name it, before
i
drop it into my newly created registry keys folder. Am I doing the right
thing by saving the branch of registries, and if so, what would I need
to
name it, or doesn't it matter?

Windows version?
Are you referring to a new identity in your current Windows User
Account
or an identity in a new Windows User Account?
