Here's a work-around
Get a gmail address and set it to autoforward to your longshadow address
so that all mail that arrives at gmail goes to
longshadows@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx When you want to send an email to yourself,
use the gmail address. That way your isp will see an email arriving
from gmail and not from langshadows@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx .
