Re: Can't use OE after signing up for UVerse!

If messages that he sends get through to some people but not others,
then it's most likely a problem on the recipient's end, unless he's
sending to the wrong e-mail address.

Since you are using SBC/AT&T I presume that you use the Yahoo mail
servers. You should check your mail via the Yahoo web mail and see if
his messages might be getting filtered there. Check the BULK and TRASH
folders as well as the mail filter options there. It could be that his
mail is now getting trapped there.

Yes thats what I meant to say. I have the same software programs I
have always usd. The only changes are on his end , that being
Uverse...We all have sbcglobal (ATT) ISP and I have checked the
filters on my end and everything is unchanged. It really angers me
that tech support seems unwilling or unable to help Dad.

Thanks

Did you mean to say

"But he can NOT send messages to me or my wife as before and I'm not
sure what others aren't getting through. ?

If so it's a sending and not receiving problem on his end. Or
perhaps the problem is on your end. It could be some spam filtering
on your ISP or your PC that is filtering his messages out.

He can receive email from me as before, and test emails from him to
himself are OK . But he can send messages to me or my wife as before
and I'm not sure what others aren't getting through. But, we emailed
each other for years using OE until the change to UVerse. I think he
can get success using Yahoo, but Dad is 82 and it was hard enough
for him to learn OE and he doesn't like Yahoo and doesn't want to
use it. There aren't any blocked senders or other message rules that
would prohibit OE messages. he has just @sbcglobal.net . Thanks for
all of your assistance...
