Re: Error message when sending E-mail: Disc Space Exceeded.

send yourself a single .jpg image, and check the filesize of the email when
it arrives
powerpoint slideshow occupies much more than its filesize when encoded to be
sent as an attachment. any non text characters in attachments, images
executables pps pdf are replaced by strings that allow the attachment to be
sent. email is text only, despite the end result.
5mb + encoding > 10MB
put the large file on a web server and send the receiver a link to that.

Hi,

Received this message:

"An unknown error has occurred. Subject 'Emailing: PowerPoint New
Additions.pps', Account: 'shawmail', Server: 'shawmail', Protocol: SMTP,
Server Response: '452 4.4.5 Error writing message temporaries - message
exceeds disk space available at this time', Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No,
Server Error: 452, Error Number: 0x800CCC6C"

when attempting to send a PowerPoint slideshow (5.7 MB). The server limit
is 10 MB.

Whose disc space is "exceeded", mine or the recipient's? I would guess
the
recipient's?

Thank you.
Andy I.
