Are you trying to do this using "plain text"? If so, just do what you
are doing, type the URL
If in Rich Text or HTML, highlight the word "google", then using the
menubar
Click on Insert>hyperlink... and insert http://www.google.com in the
box> click OK
and you're done
The source code looks like
<A href="http://www.google.com">google</A>

I know how to insert a hyperlink in an email document. But when Ido so the
complete link shows. Is there a way to 'name' the link somethingand have
only that 'name' appear in the document but when the user clicks onit it
will take them to where the link 'points'?only have
For example, if I wanted to direct someone to www.google.com but
the word "google" in blue so that when the reader clicked on"google" it
would take them to the web site, how could I do that?
I'm running OE6.
Thanks for your help,
Mike
