I find not being able to delete newsgroup headers or messages in TB a real
nuisance. In OE newsgroups, deleting messages and headers I am not
interested in allows me to only have in view the messages and headers I wish
to keep plus new headers I have not yet seen. This seems to not be possible
in TB.
Sounds as if you are using delete when all you really want to do is
change your view. There are several ways to do that with OE,
e.g. using the various message markers and sorts. Perhaps if you
change your thinking from "delete" to "mark and view" you could find
a satisfactory alternative in the other newsreader too?
