Re: Viewing mail on network computers

That's correct Bruce.
Can't read new mail from laptop that was received on the desktop. What's
happening is now I received the same message twice on the desktop.

I don't understand. Now you are saying that you can't read mail in Outlook
Express from either machine?

The instructions I sent would only work for new messages, not any you
already have.

Thanks for your reply Bruce.
No joy.
Not able to read mail in Outlook Express from either machine.
Followed your instructions on both computers, checked to delete messages
on the desktop machine.

If both computers are using the same e-mail address, on both machines:

Tools | Accounts | Mail | Properties | Advanced - Check: Leave a copy of
messages on the server.

On one machine, check to Delete messages after X days to assure the
server does not get clogged up.
