I have a similar problem. I just upgraded to MS Office 2007 and now my
outlook express is spell checking in French. When I go to outlook options >
Spelling it says French in the selected language in the pull down list.
There is no English option there to select.
I checked the language selection for the Word 2007 and it is in English, so
I have no idea what happened.
Do you think it would work for me to delete the CSAPI3T1.DLL and reinstall
it?

I have been using OE 6 for ages and used to have the 'Spelling' tab
visible, used to check all my Emails before send for 'typos' etc.
Over the last few months the 'Spelling' tab has become 'greyed' out, not
able to use it. I have been informed that it's dependent on MS Word being
available as the text program, I have never had MS Word, but always 'Open
Office' now Version 2.0 that has the capability to save as as .doc file.
Does anyone know of why this function has recently disappeared or how to
get it back again?
I have looked in the 'Tools, Options' but cannot see anything?
Kind Regards
