The above relates to Microsoft's ICS. I don't know if it also would
apply to Analogx proxy. You could also try using ICS instead of Analogx
proxy since Microsoft has already built in what you need.

I have a simple 2 machine network; host on XP other on 98SE. I have
installed Analogx proxy so that the second machine can browse the net
and that is fine. However, with OE6 I am able to send mail but not
receive (timeout). The proxy is, I think, set up correctly. Does
anyone use this proxy successfully with OE6? Any suggestions how to
get it working or recommend something else which is free, simple and
works?!
