Not using OE, no, but why bother with OE (which is a Mail /Client/, not a Mail Server)? Depending on how you access the Gmail account on your cellphone and your settings at Gmail > Mail Settings > Forwarding and POP, you should be able to access your messages on the cellphone and any messages still on the Gmail server should then download into OE when you get home.

I created a message rule that doesn't forward all of my
emails unless I read them first on my Outlook [Express] account.
Explain, please. Do you mean the rule won't forward messages unless you've
downloaded them into OE? If so, WYSIWYG.

Is there a way to accomplish what I want? I need to be able to read the
messages that come into outlook on G mail before i read them on outlook.
Hope I am clear, slightly learning disabled but have been helped several
times by the great people here. Thanks again. Dorothy
