I have a subscription to a Usenet account that will not permit a munged

For that reason, I use msnews for their newsgroups.(cause I can munge)
I know some people whose ISP only permits connecting through them.
Microsoft has nothing to do with any of what you speak.
So take responsibility for yourself, learn by your experiences, and stop
trying to find blame.
