If both computers are using the same e-mail address, on both machines:
Tools | Accounts | Mail | Properties | Advanced - Check: Leave a copy of
messages on the server.
On one machine, check to Delete messages after X days to assure the
server does not get clogged up.

Pop,
I set my desktop computer in Outlook Express,Tools, Accounts, Mail
Properties to leave messages on the server but when I check Outlook
Express inbox from my laptop what ever I have on my desktop does not
appear on my laptop. I even sent myself a test message and it did not
appear. What am I missing in your reply to Sandy?.

I have recently purchased a laptop and need help with using Outlook
Express on the desktop as well as the laptop.
Is there a way to see the same downloaded messages on both computers?
I have OE setup on the laptop, using the same address as on the
desktop. When I read my messages on the laptop, then go to the
desktop, the
same messages are not available.
Please give suggestions as what to do and how to do it or if its even
possible at all!!
Thanks so much..........
Sandy
In Outlook Express's Tools, Accounts, you can set OE to leave the
messages on the server, delete them, or delete them after a certain
number of days. You appear to have yours set to delete the messages
and thus they aren't available any longer to the other computer when
you try to read them.
I have my laptop set up to not delete messages from the server, ever.
Then, my desktop deletes messages after 7 days. So, a little
balancing act like that usually makes things work out pretty well.
If you need more specifics, just come back and ask.
