Re: Looking for my Message Store

Tech Tip: Click here to run a free scan for Windows Errors and optimize PC performance

Open the registry editor to the appropriate GUID for the identity involved and check this key for the location where the program is searching for the message store folder:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Identities\{GUID}\Software\Microsoft\Outlook Express\5.0

and look in the right hand pane for the "Store Root" and check the location shown there which can be edited to a new store folder if needed. Be careful working in the registry as you can make the system and programs unworkable if you make an error.
