Glad to see you got it working. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/306098/en-us that Steve gave you, was also one of the links I sent you. One thing left out of most of these KB articles is that you should always restart your machine when you're done, and actually choose Turn Off and then power back up.

I had MS Outlook installed and Outlook Express was uninstalled or disabled automatically.
I uninstalled Outlook and then installed Express from Microsoft's site.
But now when I try to use a link from an internet page that would normally open Outlook Express
a window pops-up to choose the profile. In the dropdown box only MS Outlook appears, and practically I cannot use it.
So no link can activate the e-mail.
