Were you running IE/OE6 SP1 on the Win98 machine?
Is MS Office or Outlook also installed on the Win2K machine?
May I ask why you reinstalled (apparently) Win2K?

Well, I've read a ton of articles on reinstalling Outlook Express, but I
cannot find one specifically for Windows 2000. One had me try to rename
the OE folder, but that didn't work because files were in use. Another
(XP) wants me to edit the registry, but I don't want to do that until I
confirm that the directions for Win2K are the same as for XP.
Please provide any assistance you can. Thanks!
