Danny:
Does this article help at all?
821403 - Mipmapi.dll Error Message When You Point to "Send To" and Then Click "Mail Recipient" to Send a File in an E-mail Message:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;Q821403
If that does not apply, then see if the following applies:
Open Windows Explorer and check your "SendTo" folder and see if there is a zero byte file called "Mail Recipient.MAPIMail" and if not found, create a empty file using notepad and save it in the SendTo folder. Remove the default txt extension from it by renaming it without an extension.

Close OE
Open Notepad and copy the stuff between the lines to a new document:
--------------------------------------------------------------------
REGEDIT4
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.MAPIMail]
@="CLSID\\{9E56BE60-C50F-11CF-9A2C-00A0C90A90CE}"
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Keep the blank line at the end.
Click File Save As.
Click the down arrow for Save as type and choose All Files.
Name it MAPIMail.reg and save it to My Documents.
Close Notepad.
Go to My Documents, right click MAPIMail.reg and choose Merge.
Restart the computer and try sending your DOC file.
