Lost Photo Folders

I am a senior newbie to the cyberworld as well as to Digital Cameras. I
downloaded all of my photos taken from my garden all summer into My
Documents, C:\My Documents and Settings\(my name)\ My Documents\ My
Pictures\My Garden '06 . I could see all of the actual pictures in
subfolders of Adobe Photoshop Album on my screen (sans the inscriptions I
had affixed at the time of downloading). That location C:\Photo
Files\Adobe\PhotoShop\Album starter\Edition\3.0\Apps. It seems that I did
something wrong because when I wanted to send some of the photos as
attachments with an e-mail, I keep getting the message that the file cannot
be accessed. When checking in My Documents I found the subfolders of other
subjects which I download at the same time i.e. MyFamily, MyBirthday etc
only the My Garden '06 is nowhere in site.
I am heartsick as these are photos of my very first garden taken during this
entire summer. Can you please help me to recover this folder ??
