Re: Impossible Drag 'n Drop from Outlook Express

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

As Michael indicates, its very unwise to download dlls from people. I think its also illegal. How do you know you have the correct versions.

Go to Start | Run and type

SFC /scannow

Then see what happens.

@ Jim: I've tried dragging an .eml file to preview and a copy was added;
tried the contrary, doesn't work.

@ Steve: first two suggestion didn't work, I'll try the last (I've
downloaded two new copies of that .dll's from www.dll-files.com).

Go to File | Identities and set up a new Identity and see if that fixes it.

If not, then try going to start | Run and type msconfig and disable all
non-MS services and all startup items and reboot and see if the problem
persists.

If that doesn't help, then you might try re-registering dlls for OE such as
msoe.dll and inetcomm.dll
