Re: hotmial accounts in OE

Tech-Archive recommends: Speed Up your PC by fixing your registry

I did the below - now when are the missing folders supposed to appear?

I closed all IE and OE windows and reopened OE and clicked on send/receive - mail was downloaded. Missing folders are still missing.

Running IE/OE 6.0.

In oe on the accounts where the bulk mail folders appear, when I click synchronize, the list of folders appears in a window and mail is read into them - on the accounts where the folders are missing, when I click on synchronize NOTHING HAPPENS! why?

By default, all folders visible at www.hotmail.com should display in OE. That being said, not everyone is able to run/access multiple MSN/Hotmail accounts in OE.

Try this:

IE Tools > Internet Options > Privacy > Sites > type in

hotmail.com
live.com
passport.net

and Allow Cookies for each, in turn.

If running IE7 Beta3, another fix may be required.

I have several hotmail accounts that I read in OE.

Some accounts show in OE all the folders that I have in hotmail.com.

Some accounts do NOT show in OE all the folders that I have in hotmail.com.

How do I get ALL the hotmail.com folders to display (along with the contents
thereof) in OE?

Do not tell me to cancel these accounts and reopen them - I already did that
and THOSE are the accounts that fail to show all the hotmail.com folders in
OE - they DID show all the accounts prior to closing/reopening them!!

This problem applies to both the OS generated folders and MY generated
folder.
