Re: Receiving email that doesn't show up

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

View | Current View. Make sure Show All Messages is the only option checked.

If it is that way already, I would highly suspect the problem is with Norton.

I use, and recommend, AVG Free:
http://free.grisoft.com/doc/2/lng/us/tpl/v5
or:
http://www.grisoft.com/doc/40/lng/ww

When prompted, choose Custom Installation and *uncheck* e-mail scanning when you see the option.

Norton, and McAfee, products are not Outlook Express friendly, and I don't
know of any OE-MVP that would recommend using them.

This is the first time I noticed this. So right now it is from only one
person (it is a company).

I did look in the deleted folders and it wasn't there. Four or five were
sent and they don't show up anywhere.

I don't have any blocked senders. I did figure out how to check that.

I don't know anything about message rules, what they are, or where you can
find them.

I have Norton Internet Security. I can't find anything about that in my OE.
I did talk to Norton this morning and the guy said to call back when it
happens again.

I've looked and looked and looked and I can't find the messages anywhere.
Nothing else has come in like this (that I know).

Thanks for helping. By the way my maiden name is Hagen!

Have you checked other folders such as Deleted Items?

Do you have any blocked senders or message rules?

There would only be a spam folder if you had a spam program. Do you?
