Look in Tools/Options/Send and click the HTML button for Mail Messages.
Is the choice to "Send pictures" checked?

Using Win XP Pro SP2 and OE 6.002900.2180.

When trying to "Insert" a picture from My Pictures folder OE "freezes"! I
then need to close the program and start over again. I can carryout all
other normal functions with OE. What could be causing this? All Windows
updates/patches are up to date.
