Re: Message Could Not Be Displayed

With IMAP (and HTTP), your mail folders mirror the server mail folders.
So OE is trying to contact the mail server to make sure that OE folders
are up-to-date. And that's what synchronize does. Since the IMAP
server is no longer available, you get an error.

I haven't worked with IMAP accounts, so I'm not sure if these will work,
but it's worth a try.

In OE select File, Work Offline before accessing the IMAP folders. Then
see if you can access your messages.

Another thing you can try is dragging the IMAP folders from under the
IMAP account in the Folder List to the "Local Folder".

Just before Mailblocks cancelled its service, I brought over its
messages to OE6 by creating it as an IMAP account. I can read the
messages listed under Inbox in the app22.mailblocks.com folder, but
when I try to read messages in the other subfolders I get: Message
could not be displayed. When I try to synchronize the messages in the
other subfolders of app.22.mailblocks.com I get the following message:

Your '-bought' folder was not polled for its unread count. The host
'app22.mailblocks.com' could not be found. Please verify that you have
entered the server name correctly. Account: 'app22.mailblocks.com',
Server: 'app22.mailblocks.com', Protocol: IMAP, Server Response: '',
Port: 143, Secure(SSL): No, Error Number: 0x800CCC0D

Is the content of the messages in the subfolders which I cannot read
somehow accessible on my HD or were only the message headers
transferred? How come I can read the messages in the Inbox subfolder
of
mailblocks, but I can't read the messages in the other subfolders? Is
there any solution to the problem? I would like to be able to read the
messages which got transferred from mailblocks.com.
