Is Surfairy installed on this computer?
811165 - Cannot Print in Internet Explorer if Surfairy Is Installed:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;811165
What version number is shown in the Help/About screen for Outlook Express? I suspect it may have been some time since you last visited the Windows Update page to download and install all updates marked as Critical for your operating system.
Is there a reason why you are not using Outlook Express to post your questions to the newsgroup?

Did you try the recommended action, and then reboot the computer to see if
it was fixed? If not, why not?
If it's not then fixed, post the "complete and exact text" of the error
message you are getting.
