Hi Cir,
Many mail servers allow a copy to be kept on the server(for POP3 accounts).
Because POP3 servers are not designed for long term storage it is
recommended that the time be limited to a week or less to avoid a full mail
box -- and the inability to receive new messages. The time allowed would
depend on the volume and type of messages you receive.
The setting for this is under the Advanced tab in the mail account's
properties. For Outlook Express this would be:
Tools | Accounts | Mail tab | Account> Properties> Advanced tab
This newsgroup is for OE, but there are other groups for Outlook.

What did i miss why Outlook completely downloads all my e-mails NOT keeping
a copy in the server? I am unable to access any e-mail from my inbox and
sent items when using other computers or on the road!
